Monica Thandi

Monica qualified in 2004 with a City-based law firm and has primarily worked in the property sector, dealing with both commercial and residential property matters. 

Monica joined the firm in 2016 and is the lead solicitor in the Property Department.

Monica’s expertise encompasses advising on and dealing with residential freehold and leasehold property sales and purchases, commercial sales and purchases, security documentation, refinancing (freehold, leasehold and mixed use), lease extensions, right to buy, collective enfranchisement, new build transactions including shared ownership and help to buy schemes, deeds of variation, licences for alteration, rent reviews, termination procedures, subletting and assignments.

She has advised a broad range of clients, including lenders, individuals, developers, trustees, charitable bodies, associations, companies, and institutions, based in the UK and abroad. She is fluent in Punjabi.
