Shamoon is a key member of the Property Department. He qualified in 2021 having trained with us in a variety of disciplines before focusing mainly on commercial and residential property. He joined the firm in the spring of 2016, having previously worked in a busy North West London firm since 2011.
Shamoon has become an experienced property lawyer within a busy conveyancing practice dealing with residential and commercial property sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold), refinancing documentation, rent reviews, lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, right to buy, right to acquire, deeds of variation, licences for alteration, termination procedures, subletting and assignments and all aspects of commercial and residential property transactions and general property management.
Shamoon also has experience in private client work, advising on all aspects of private client wills and probate law and practice.
He has a particular focus in lease extensions and collective enfranchisement, having acted for tenants of various blocks of flats in relation to their purchase of the freehold interest under the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993.
Shamoon has advised a broad range of clients based in the UK and abroad including lenders, individuals, developers, trustees, associations, companies and institutions.
